How do I get started?
Open the app and tap Record. Speak normally, then tap Stop when you're done. We'll transcribe the recording and generate a summary automatically.
Is there a recording length limit?
During this beta, recordings are capped at 60 minutes. Long recordings are captured in short chunks and transcribed as you go, so a failed upload only retries that chunk instead of losing the whole recording.
Do transcription and AI summaries need an internet connection?
Yes. Both speech-to-text and AI summarization rely on online services, so please stay connected. If a service is temporarily unavailable, the app will clearly show a failure with a Retry option rather than substituting fake data.
Where is my recording data stored?
Your recordings, transcripts, and summaries are stored locally on your phone and are not uploaded to a server for long-term storage. Audio and transcript content is only sent temporarily to the relevant AI service when generating a transcription or summary.
Can I listen back to a recording?
Yes โ open any recording's detail screen and tap "Play Recording" to hear the original audio.
A recording failed to transcribe or summarize โ what now?
Open the recording and tap "Retry." If it keeps failing, check your connection, or email us with the approximate time it happened.
How do I delete a recording?
Open the recording's detail screen and tap "Delete Recording" at the bottom. Once confirmed, it's deleted along with its audio, transcript, and summary, and cannot be undone.
